This November, the H.B. Fuller Company Foundation announced $75,000 in grants to 11 nonprofits in the Twin Cities. These grants support STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education and youth leadership development programs for youth in our headquarters community.
We are proud to support the following organizations:
STEM Education
- ANEW BAM, STEM Program expanding African American student access to science and technology fields.
- BDPA, to support and train local youth in Computer Science and Information Technology fields.
- Breakthrough Twin Cities, for intensive summer STEM programming.
- High Tech Kids, for engaging robotics programs and tournaments.
- Ka Joog, to support a culturally appropriate STEM programs for Somali American youth.
- Minnesota Public Radio “Brains On!”, for youth friendly activities to expand the perceptions of STEM careers.
- Science from Scientists, for STEM enrichment programs, bringing scientists into classrooms to connect with students.
- Spark Youth, to update and expand STEM curriculum kits.
- The Bell Museum, for hands-on and inquiry-based STEM summer camps.
Youth Leadership
- Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, for cohort-based multicultural leadership programming.
- Multiplying Good, for service learning and youth leadership workshops and programs.
